PAPAMOA DANCE STUDIO
Papamoa Dance Studio opened in February 2020 in Papamoa Beach. The studio vision is to provide dance excellence in a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to make dance an enjoyable experience while focusing on a high level of technique. Class sizes are small giving our students more one to one learning and all classes are taught by highly experienced teachers. Our learning environment allows students to develop their love of dance while striving for their own individual best.

Papamoa Dance Studio was designed to give our dancers a professional environment to learn. Features include state of the art sprung floors, marley flooring, mirrored walls, wall to wall barres and washroom.
ABOUT CAROLINE
Caroline spent her early years training in Vancouver, Canada studying Cecchetti Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre and Voice. She went on to study at the National Ballet School of Canada and is a graduate of The National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program. This program is a unique three year full time degree program. Studies included RAD and Cecchetti Syllabus, Pointe, Repertoire, Modern, Pedagogy, Choreography, History of Ballet, Anatomy, Child Psychology, Creative Dance, Music and Body Conditioning. The TTP Program develops professional ballet teachers who are sought after in the dance community because of the high level of training they receive. Caroline graduated from the NBS TTP with her Associate Diploma in Cecchetti Ballet as well as the National Dance Branch with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
Caroline has been teaching for over 20 years. Her teaching has taken her from Canada to the United States and here in New Zealand. She was Artistic Director of her own successful dance studio in Vancouver, Canada. Caroline has adjudicated at many dance festivals and her choreography has won many prestigious awards. Her students have entered ballet examinations and dance competitions receiving high marks and numerous awards. Many of her students have gone on to have very successful careers in both dance and film industries.
In addition to teaching, choreographing, adjudicating and examining Caroline has enjoyed a successful professional career as a dancer. She has trained with world renowned teachers and has performed in various classical ballets and independent contemporary works. She was a member of the Jean Ann Ryan Production Company where she performed as a dancer and aerial artist onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Shows included Cameron Mackintosh’s ‘Hey Mr. Producer’, ‘Crazy for You’ and Cirque inspired shows.
Caroline is a passionate teacher who instills the love of dance and the quest for perfection within her students. She strives to bring the highest quality of training to her students and continues her own professional teacher training by attending numerous seminars , master classes and workshops. Caroline’s classes are challenging yet she creates a nurturing environment where her students are encouraged to be the best they can be both as dancers and young individuals.
